Channel Manager

Our client is an entrepreneurial internet technology company. They have developed there own suite of products which have been a success.  They have a strong record of retention and have gained an excellent reputation.

They are now looking to develop the channel and are seeking someone with an ability to develop a channel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Develop new and existing channel relationships with IT resellers and distributors.  This will involve assessing partner capabilities and work in partnership with them to ensure the product gets to market correctly.  You will work with the MD to formulate the overall Partner Model.

Ensure the profitability of the channel.

Optimise the positioning of the product.

Develop sales approach, processes and supporting product/systems/collateral for all regions.

Responsible for marketing collateral and product packaging.

Develop strong communication networks with key customers

Consistently provide feedback to the technical team to ensure the product remains cutting edge.

Role Requirements

Candidates should have a strict minimum of 4 years in a channel Sales role in IT (software or hardware).

Experience of developing a new brand is an advantage.

The right candidate will have experience in proposition development in a software environment.

Salary is negotiable with an excellent OTE.  This role will appeal to those who are comfortable in a developing company rather than those who would prefer a larger structured environment.
