A LEADING PHARMA COMPANY REQUIRES AN INFORMATION SYSTEM SUPPORT PERSON FOR ITS BUSY OPERATION IN CORK.

DUTIES

• Coordinating and administering budget uploads into Discoverer for all PGM Ireland sites.
• Responsible for delivering in-market training on Oracle GL and Discoverer.
• Work with MIC support team to test and roll-out additional / changed functionality to Discoverer.
• Control change management and user acceptance testing for changes to Discoverer reports
• Administering access rights
• Be an OFA / Discoverer superuser
• Participate in Information Delivery user forums
• Primary point of contact for ID user issues
• Work with Applications Management Team on any interface issues
• Coordinate between users and EFSS controllership to set up new Oracle cost centres or accounts as required, ensuring that the coding is set up correctly for both NY reporting and local management reporting purposes
• Communicate with MIC support team regarding Change Requests, identifying requirements and monitoring progress.
• Participate in project team to introduce new budgeting & forecasting system across PGM Ireland sites.

REQUIREMENTS

• Financial background and/or a strong functional knowledge of financial reporting requirements
• The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and data manipulation skills, and preferably a knowledge of Oracle and/or Discoverer
• A good understanding of IT and IT applications would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Good ability to understand and exploit system capabilities
• Proven record of being a self-starter and capable of meeting deadlines with limited supervision.
