A NEW POSITION HAS ARISEN WITH OUR CLIENT  A MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY BASED IN LIMERICK.

SENIOR TESTING ENGINEER WITH FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE MEDICAL DEVICE INDUSTRY. 

RESPONSILITIES

• Work with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering in development of test methods and test protocols for product and or process testing.
• Wil need to specify and develop custom equipment necessary for product test requirements.
• He/she will have to execute testing to test protocols and generate reports based on this testing.
• Maintain knowledge and develop additional expertise in standards associated with medical device product testing.
• Active & proactive communication with sister companies to use established global test methods where applicable.
• Work in a tightly regulated environment regarding quality procedures and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Third level degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar Engineering discipline.
• At least five years work experience preferably in the medical device industry.
• Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
