A leading Mobile Phone Company are looking for a Business Development Executive to service the Munster area.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sell new contract connections and mobile solutions to the company network, servicing the small to medium business market

  • Develop a good knowledge of the company Product Portfolio and an understanding of the mobile telecommunications industry as a whole

  • Keep informed of technical developments, industry trends, competitor activities working closely with technology partner channel.

  • Responsible for a designated sales territory - need to have a very good knowledge of the potential and existing business within the area.

  • Work closely with the Telesales and Account Management in your territory to offer a seamless service to your customers

  • Translate customer requirements and the features of the company service, into offering specific customer benefits and solutions

  • Identify and qualify increased business opportunities from existing customers, use expertise and knowledge to make innovative proposals

  • Be a self-starter - source leads through cold calling and manage leads from internal and external sources
  • Qualify new prospects and prepare proposals, mailings, new initiatives as required

  • Although Account Management will be handled pro-actively by the Account Management Execs, be available to your customers to handle queries, or if necessary to call out to handle issues which could retain their business

  • Achieve quarterly and annual Sales targets

  • Utilise and maintain the data of Goldmine to track, forecast and close sales

  • Utilise the data within the billing system.

  • Update Manager and SME Channel Manager on progress preparing regular reports

  • Participate actively and positively in Team meetings

  • Develop close working relationships with other Sales Teams and other departments, including the Business Support Team in Customer Care.

 

The ideal canddiate will have the following:

Proven track record in achieving Sales targets, selling to the SME / Business market.

Solid understanding of mobile technology and developments

Strong administrative and reporting skills.

Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate at all business levels

Motivation, ambition and tenacity

Ability to work well under pressure and to work to targets
