There is a requirement for a Credit Control Manager within an engineering consultancy located in their offices in Dublin 24

Our client is an international consultancy and Ireland's leading provider of services for the development and management of natural resources, land, property, engineering assets, management of the environment and the health and safety of people. They plan, design, develop and manage projects for clients in the public and private sector. Many of these projects are infrastructure and facilities essential for Ireland's continued growth and well being.

Key Role Responsibilities:
Managing the credit control function for the group of companies with turnover of over €120 m
Managing team of 4 credit controllers based locally and in regional offices
Directly managing the credit control function of one of the group's companies (turnover approx €30 million)
Planning, coordinating and supervising work within credit control department
Controlling and improving group credit policy
Establishing and maintaining relationships with various business divisions and clients
Setting and achieving collections targets
Daily reporting of cash collection
Monthly management reporting and ad hoc reporting (e.g. debtors ledger analysis, DSO and Top Overdues)
Organising regular meetings with Division directors to review debtors performance
Managing cashflow for group companies through branch and electronic banking
 

Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience at a similar level
Membership of Irish Institute of Credit Management would be desirable but is not essetntial
Be highly organised, have good analytical skills and a keen attention to detail
Proven people management skills and ability to inspire others to reach a common goal
Be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Be outgoing, show flexibility and display a high degree of initiative
