Accounts Assistant/Part Qualified accountant required by well established client based in West Cork

Main duties

1.  Overall management/administration of specific cost centres.
2.  Liasing with suppliers on a regular basis, weekly/monthly, to ensure invoices are accurate/all costs are properly accounted for.
3.  Ensure discounts have been applied on invoices.
4.  Assistance with annual budget process
5. Production of expense reports each period. Tracking of expenses v budget.
6. Management of suppliers and monitoring of costs to ensure they were actually committed.
7. Issue periodic reports to all managers of cost performance v budget.
8. Resolve Supplier payment queries.
9. Preparation of specific reports and analysis
10. Assistance with period accounts/supplier reconciliations.

Experience

• Part Qualified Accountant/ Accounting Technician with 1 to 2 years experience. 
• Experienced in costs centre's of a large company.
• Experienced in month end reporting 
• Have excellent reporting and analytical skills.
• Team player with strong analytical, finance and accounting skills.
