My client, a market leader in investment banking, boasts of of the lowest staff turnover rates in Ireland. They are currently sourcing for an experienced Account Payable person.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1-2 years experience in AP, to get further exposure to complex AP duties and progress within one of market leaders in investment banking.

Main duties:

 Assisting the Manager to ensure that payments to suppliers and employees are made in a timely and accurate manner
 Assisting in closing the Accounts payable ledger on work day minus four every month
 Complete responsibility of the monthly preparation of creditor statement reconciliation's in a timely fashion.
 Assist Accounting at month end by monthly preparation of late invoices / accruals schedule on work day minus three every month
 Recording of the post on a daily basis and scanning all invoices received
 Monitor the invoices scanned on a daily basis and ensure all invoices received are entered onto PeopleSoft on a daily basis
 Liaising with the banks with regard to any payment rejections or payment issues 
 Weekly payment of employees' expense claims

What our client is looking for:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in AP (a solid 2 year's experience within a high-volume multinational).  Knowledge of Oracle or Peoplesoft is a bonus.
