Leading investment servicing firm seeks an in-house solicitor to join its legal team of 5.  The successful candidate will report into the Head of Legal and will ideally have a background in the funds industry.
My client has won awards for training and is dedicated to the ongoing training and development of all its staff.

Responsibilities:
• Drafting and negotiating all agreements to include administration and custodian agreements, trust deeds and service level agreements
• Negotiating and facilitating the execution of fee letters and waiters, standard comfort letters etc
• Advising the firm on relevant legislation
• Reviewing and commenting on funds' prospectuses
• Facilitating liquidation and de-authorisation of dormant and insolvent funds

Required skills:
• Solicitor / barrister with around 3-4 years PQE
• Previous experience gained in the funds industry is an advantage but candidates must understand various types of funds and structures and the legal and regulatory background
• Must be computer literate to include use of spreadsheets and word processing
• Excellent oral and written communication
