Operations Manager - Contract Research

Successful Mayo company seeks Operation Manager from a Scientific background to lead a contract research organisation servicing the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Veterinary Industries. The Operations Manager will oversee the quality, regulatory, commerical and operational aspects of the companies (GLP & GCP) services.

Essential requirements

  • Post graduation qualification.
  • 10 - 15 years experience of working in a Contract Research organisation or a veterinary pharmaceutical organisation
  • Proven track record of the commercial, scientific, regulatory and quallity components of a business.
  • 10 years Mangement experience managing in excess of 40 employees.
  • Preferably from a veterinarian/animal science background but an experienced scientist also accepted.


Main Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Information and Marketing
  • Project Management and Planning
