Senior Pensions Administrator - Dublin & Bristol

Based in Dublin City Centre our client is one of the leading life assurance companies in Ireland. Offering various life assurance, pension, savings and investment products they pride themselves on their superior level of customer service that they provide. Founded over 90 years ago their reputation they have a strong presence in Ireland. They are currently seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator with DB experience.

Working on our clients own in house Pension Scheme (UK Sector) your role will see you travelling between Ireland and the UK for the next several months after which you will be based permanently in Dublin.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Member Services the role of the Senior Pensions Administrator also involves but is not limited to the following duties;

• Performing and overseeing members benefit calculations
• Assisting in the maintenance of membership records
• Assisting in the compilation/validation of membership data for auditors and actuaries
• Providing comprehensive information to members
• Taking a senior role within the admin. team i.e. training and coaching
• Participation in projects

This challenging role requires a highly skilled and experienced Pensions Administrator. You will also possess the following;

• A minimum of 3 years pension administration experience within the UK Group Pensions Market

STRONG DB experience is also fundamental to this role

• A minimum of 5 D's in ordinary level Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Superior communication skills
• Strong customer focus with an appreciation of customer needs
• Team player with the ability to work on own initiative
• Good leadership skills along with an ability to work as part of a team
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with Customers
• Very good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent PC skills particularly Word and Excel

A pensions or business qualification and experience in the following - Aquila or Profund pension's administration systems, SAP, MS Project, MS Access - will be a distinct advantage

This role offers an excellent basic salary (between €40K-€42K doe) & bonus & expenses & extensive benefits & opportunity to travel to the UK
