Position: Marketing Assistant - Dublin 2

My client is one of Irelands' leading and most progressive Life Assurance companies, delivering specialist Protection and Protected Investment products to the Broker market.

They are looking for an enthusiastic, pragmatic, motivated and hardworking candidate who has a very strong commercial orientation and a mixture of creative and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager and other team members in helping to implement the marketing plan for the organisation.

• Responsible for conducting market and competitor research and analysis

• Liaising with and manage the ongoing relationship with design agencies, printers and other third parties

• Managing the Marketing CRM database and Broker mailing lists

• In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, initiating and implementing marketing campaigns aimed at developing brand  This will include developing monthly direct mail pieces, newsletters, flyers, presentations, brochures, managing the internet CMS system and developing intra/internet articles and sales aids.

• Assist with product launches, focus groups, seminars and numerous high profile client events.

Candidate Attributes:
Qualifications:
A 3rd level qualification in Marketing/Business Studies/Commerce.
6 months - 1 years work experience. Preferably in a Marketing role

Essential Skills:
Very strong communication skills - verbal and written.
Fluent English is an absolute prerequisite.
Excellent relationship builder and team player.
Knowledge of Windows Packages (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint).
Knowledge of CMS/CRM packages an advantage but not required.

Salary is circa €24-25k plus an excellent benefits package
