A Purchasing Manager is required for the Dublin West region. An knowledge of the FMCG sector would be advantageous. 4 years in a procurement role is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Order products by supplier.
  • Liaise with Sales and Customer Service on supplier delivery issues & manage the information flow internally.
  • Offer a range of procedures and processes to improve inventory management
  • Plan and maintain stock levels, stock turnover & stock control accuracy to match market demands & customer requirements
  • Monitor sales & promotional activities & customer buying trends
  • Product Pricing and Maintenance
  • Product Profitability
  • Setting, monitoring & analyzing KPI's

 

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years relevant experience
  • Fluent in English, fluency in other European languages an advantage.
  • Interest in Food.
  • Strong Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of the supply chain
