CHIEF LEGAL COUNSEL IN HOUSE - 11 MONTH CONTRACT

One of the leading telecoms providers in Ireland is looking to recruit a CHIEF LEGAL COUNSEL to their team based in Dublin. This role is on an 11 month maternity contract basis and will head a team of 4 lawyers. If you have a good commercial background ( 6-8 years PQE) and experience in telecommunications then this could be the perfect role for you. Benefits include a car allowance and a 10% completion bonus at the end of the 11 months.

The main functions of the role are as follows:

• Reporting to and advising management on the major legal issues facing my client.
• Managing the day to day workload of the 4 lawyers on the team .
• Acting as a lead counsel in major projects including major network infrastructure and IT projects, outsourcing sponsorship content and Brand procurement.
• Advising on matters ranging from tenders to disputes to contract negotiations in a technologically advanced environment.

You will have experience in all or some of the following areas:

• Multi jurisdictional deals
• Outsourcing arrangements
• Tendering exercises
• Disputes and litigation
• Telecommunications Law


Salary: €Negotiable depending on experience
