MORTGAGE ADVISOR

Company Profile
Our client, a recent entrant to the Irish banking arena, is currently looking to recruit a mortgage advisor for a South Dublin based business unit.

The Role
The successful candidate will have prior experience of working within a fast paced target driven environment and have previous management experience.
 
Key responsibilities include:

•         Achieving required volumes of mortgage business, insurance cross sales & banking referrals.

•         Taking ownership of all cases, being the key contact for mortgage customers. Actively following business through from application to completion ensuring high quality standards.

•         Promoting best sales practices and techniques to support the delivery of Branch mortgage and insurance objectives.

•         Being highly visible in the Branch to support sales campaigns and displaying pro-active lead generation.

•         Adhering to current legislation in all aspects of the role and the relevant code compliance and regulatory requirements.

•          Ensuring data is keyed correctly first time, to minimise risk to the business and ensure that quality offers are based on correct underwriting information

•         Providing direct and honest feedback to colleagues aimed at developing the quality of referrals and building colleague advocacy.

•         Responding to customer complaints and enquiries to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.

•          Proactively managing own diary, building in flexibility to carry out Mortgage Advisor and Assistant Branch Manager activities

•         Proactively owning the customer relationship, providing regular updates on progress to customers and ensuring outstanding documents are received.

•         Supporting the Branch Manager and deputising in their absence to maintain the highest standards of customer service and risk management.

Experience
 Experience within a Mortgage Sales environment
 Strong working knowledge of Mortgage and Insurance Product specifications and Retail Credit Policy
 Knowledge of Financial Services Market desirable

Education
Bachelors degree in a business, finance or accountancy related discipline is desirable.  Minimum of QFA Life assurance or higher

Salary
Excellent salary and benefits depending on experience.
