INVESTMENT PROCESSING SPECIALIST (CASH AND SECURITIES)
Company Profile
Our client, a leading investment bank, is currently looking to recruit an investment processing settlements specialist (cash and securities) for their Dublin city centre based offices.
The Role
The successful candidate will assist in capturing all transactions entered into by the funds.  In addition, you will reconcile the investment holdings (cash, securities and other instruments) of each fund to the primary records of the custodian, Fund Manager or third party.  You will also be required to track, investigate and correctly record in a timely manner all corporate action events, which impact these funds.  You will contribute to improving the control environment and the efficiency with which the services are provided.  This will include involvement in testing of systems utilised in the provision of services.
Key responsibilities include:
• Accurately processing all relevant transactions onto the fund valuation system on a timely basis
• Completing cash and stock reconciliations
• Resolving discrepancies highlighted by reconciliations
• Ensuring completion of reconciliations between fund valuations produced internally and those produced by Portfolio Managers
• Demonstrating initiative and contribute to the development of the team's processes and procedures
• Actively contributing to a positive working environment
• Completing any other tasks assigned by the team leader.
• Participating in audit reviews

Experience
At least 18 months experience in a securities or cash environment
Education
Bachelors degree in a business, finance or accountancy related discipline is desirable.
