GRADUATE INVESTMENT BANKING POSITION
Company Profile
Our client, a leading investment bank, is currently looking to recruit a graduate derivatives collateral specialist (on a temporary contract basis) for their Dublin city centre based offices.
The Role
The successful candidate will work within the Operations Department and will be exposed to a wide range of complex derivative products including Equity, FX, Fixed Income Derivatives and Structured Products. Other duties include liaising with front and middle office functions in Hong Kong, London and New York offices and with external counterparties.
Key responsibilities include:
Daily review of portfolio disputed collateral calls
Reading tickets from clients, matching trades in internal systems and creating matches
Resolving breaks by reading tickets
Act as a point of contact to clients for portfolio reconciliations
Experience
Work experience is an advantage but not essential
Strong attention to detail is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with an enthusiastic attitude and can work successfully within a group as well as on own initiative
Ability to multi-task and liaise with various departments and clients
Education
Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting etc having obtained at least a 2.1 grade.
Masters in Economics, Finance and Capital Markets etc would be beneficial.
Higher level Leaving Cert maths is essential
Salary
Excellent salary and benefits depending on experience.
