CONSULTANT (INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT)

 

Reporting to: Integrity Management Team Leader
Location: Galway, Ireland

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for project management and delivery of work in integrity management of subsea systems.
• Responsibility for quality, budgetary control, work scope definition, project planning and resource allocation on all assignments related to integrity management.
• Measuring the performance of the team and ensuring work scopes are executed within agreed project deadlines.
• Responsibility for ensuring that integrity management services are aligned with industry standards and the company  policies.
• Assist in resource planning, recruitment, selection and training of engineers.
• Setting integrity management performance objectives and ensuring the objectives are communicated and clearly understood by the team.
• Technical custodian for bids and proposals in the area of Integrity Management of subsea systems.
• Active involvement with the Business Development function with an emphasis on leveraging current client relationships.
• Required Competencies and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years experience including project management experience.
• Well organized technical leader capable of managing, motivating, and mentoring professional engineering specialists.
• Solutions oriented, creative individual, capable of adapting to a fast learning curve, exhibiting analytical skills, process and rigor required to deliver quality integrity management solutions.
• Proven industry experience in materials (steels/polymer) and associated manufacturing and testing technologies (e.g. welding, NDT, cathodic protection) or;
• Proven industry experience in risk management and risk based maintenance of manufacturing process. Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative risk assessment methods or;
• Proven experience in monitoring technologies e.g. stress/strain measurements, signal transfer, fiber optic etc.
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willing to liaise with clients and travel frequently.
• Training in subsea systems will be provided.

Educational Qualifications:
• 4-Year Engineering Degree
• Advanced (Masters or PhD) degree is an advantage
