Our client, a global leader in antivirus and content security software and services are currently looking to recruit a     
Business Process Project Manager in Cork for a fix term contract.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to work within the Business Process Projects Team to manage key system related projects in the area of sales and ordering.

The project manager will work with the user community to understand user requirements and liaise with technical teams to deliver the requirements into the system.

The successful candidate will be required to manage the project through the different phases (from planning to execution to deployment).

Key Duties:

• Gather the requirements of the different business stakeholders across different functional organisations.
  
• Manage, plan and organize project activities.
  
• Develop project plans/schedules.
  
• Manage project risk throughout the life of the project.
  
• Conduct weekly project meetings and regular presentations to key stakeholders.
  
• Ensure that customer and stakeholder expectations are met and managed.
  
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to ensure quality of product and service.
  
• Prioritise and delegate key project tasks to team members.
  
• Write formal business requirements documents for projects.
  
• Act as a liaison between the business and IT vendor to ensure business project needs are adequately met with technology solutions.
  
• Manage relationship with IT vendors.
  
• Support users of the system.
   

Candidate Profile
 

• Proven ability to manage to deadlines and meet cost constraints.
  
• Distribution channel processes and technologies.
  
• Ability to perform robust business process analysis and recommend solutions.
  
• Experience of Sarbanes Oxley would be an advantage  
  
• Experience of working in a multi national environment
  
• Experience of working in a project environment
  
• Experience in working in a distribution channel focused organisation
  
• Experience in dealing with vendors/suppliers and stakeholders in different locations and cultures  
  
• 6-7 years work experience in related discipline
  
• 2 years in project managing medium sized (6-8 months) systems implementations 
  
• Bachelors degree in IT, business or related discipline.
  
• Project management certification would be a distinct advantage.
