My client is one of the leading brands in assets management worldwide and as part of its expansion, they are looking for a qualified accountant.

This is an excellent role as you will be working within  a leader in assets management on a worldwide scale. You will be reporting to head office in Brussels.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate as full training will be provided in Brussels _Belgium. However the position is based in Dublin 2.

Main duties:

Prepare statuory and financial accounts and report to Head office in Brussels.

Prepare VAT and other declarations.

Supervise the AP, AR and other General Ledger accounts

Prepare accounts for audit stage and work closely with senior management during audit stage.

Comply with local and European GAAP.

Be involved in ad-hoc projects.

Main requirements:

For this role, you must be fully  qualified accounant with 1-2 years relevant experience.  ideally, the candidate should show a keen interest in the financial services market as well as flexiblity to travel as training will take place in Brussels. Fluent French or Dutch is an advantage but not essential.
