One of the worlds leading innovators within fund services currently have a role open for an Analyst/Project Manager within their TA division. The company are looking for candidates with significant experience within TA whom are either looking to get into more of an analytical role or who already have experience in this area. General: The Senior Business Analyst performs project management, business analysis, and research to support key business initiatives and maintain and implement company products and solutions. Liaises with internal contacts and clients to ensure the appropriate decisions are made related to client-related technology development, operations processes, new and existing product initiatives, and the review of overall client satisfaction.
• Lead and manage the implementation of projects including - o Development of clear project plans with milestones, deliverables and timelines o Facilitation and lead of project updates, providing status updates and task lists. o Ensuring appropriate and timely issue management including the maintenance and update of issue logs. o Tracking and monitoring of projects to completion • Provide support and lead throughout the project life cycle to project team members • Ensure appropriate and effective communication with key stakeholders • Where required, develop and provide accurate costs for development and integration projects. • Liaise with business users to identify, scope, specify and define appropriate business requirements for systems development and integration projects. This will include workshop and meeting facilitation. • Create requirement definition documentation which explicitly and effectively explains business requirements to systems development staff or third party vendors, ensuring that business needs and technical solutions are appropriately aligned • Review technical documentation to ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with business requirements. Where required, walk business users through technical documentation to support understanding and acceptance of proposed solutions. • Obtain sign off on the business requirement documentation from key stakeholders. • Research third party products and solutions that could be used to meet the business objectives including assisting with software selection and / or the design of software amendments • Effectively research, capture, analyze and communicate service level issues to internal company departments and facilitate their ultimate resolution in a timely manner • Actively participate in industry and professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices; • Apply industry knowledge and standards to company products and client workflows to ensure the most efficient and effective solutions • Develop complexity and cost models for existing and new business initiatives; Work closely with Global Relationship Sales Managers to review potential new business prospects and assist throughout the RFP process • Partner with internal departments staff to stay abreast of local market changes and communicate how the changes may impact our client base • Represent Client Servicing at internal department meetings and work with Operations Section Manager's to ensure client requirements are well understood. • Lead client service workshops/discussions to understand client goals, workflows, complex business needs, gaps, and opportunities • Effectively communicate operational workflow changes to keeping client requirements in mind • Identify and incorporate process improvements for the division to continually improve our efficiency and lower the cost of doing business. • Partner with peers, ADHs, and Department Head to identify, develop, and implement service level improvements and departmental projects.
