Product Development And Quality Service Manager

We currently have a superb opportunity with a leading mortgage broker for a Product  Development & Quality Assurance Manager. The primary responsibilities of this role are the development of a robust product development process, the on-going, proactive development of product & pricing portfolio and the implementation and management of a quality framework.

This is a key role in the Organisation reporting to the Head of Strategy and will be responsible for ensuring the company is a market leader in the development of new product offerings and has a product portfolio that will help drive future business growth


Principal Accountabilities:

• Identification and analysis of key market trends to inform and direct product strategy
• Preparation of Business Case's for proposed new products and product changes including market research, risk and technical assessments and financial analysis
• Documentation requirements and Legal and compliance implications for product introduction
• Project management for new product introduction
• Design, implement and control the Product development process
• Communication of developments, status, issues, to both internal and external audiences
• Pricing to deliver return on capital objectives
• Define the desired customer experience and the customer service strategy
• Implement innovative and effective approaches to assess the customer experience
• Lead improvement programmes using Quality tools to address the gap between the desired customer experience and the actual customer experience and to address the root causes of complaints; develop metrics and set targets for key business processes
• Development of quality performance dashboards


Experience & Qualifications:

• Strong Project Management skills supported by demonstrable Project Management experience
•Analytical skills; Process and systems understanding
•Innovation capability
•Planning and organising; Delivery capability
•Numerical skills; ability to perform and understand financial analysis
•Knowledge and experience of the Mortgage Market and Financial Services Sector
•Product knowledge
•Proven track record of constructing quality indicators
•Experience of driving service quality agenda
•Assessing and measuring 'the customer experience'
•Knowledge of quality models, best practice national and international
•Strong capability in service and process improvement management
