Training

Introducing Sigmar Financial Services Training Sigmar Financial Services Training, a joint venture between Sigmar Recruitment, fast training, Techne Associates and Lewis McKinley Associates, has launched a specialist financial training service for Irish Financial Institutions.  With experience across the range of capital, equity and bond markets, these courses fulfil a real need for Irish employees working in the financial services to obtain qualified and in-depth understanding of the markets they work in.

Sigmar Training is comprehensive and flexible, since it covers three types of training:

We are delighted to announce the availability of the following courses in conjunction with our training partners:

Bringing in-depth financial courses to Ireland provides financial institutions with the opportunity to train a much broader cross section of its staff.  As Stephen McGann, associate and trainer with STL explains, training across departments reduces risk increases productivity and reduces errors: ?For example, people employed in audit or compliance typically do not come from the trading environment.  It is much more likely that a solicitor or accountant takes on this role.  In this case, without the required knowledge of how the financial instrument works, it is much more difficult to enforce corporate policies. Beating fraud or just tightening up on bad dealing practice requires a broad level of experience from the dealing room right the way through to the back office.  If staff understand the financial instruments they are processing, then errors or illegality are more swiftly spotted,? he said.
