Trainer Profiles

 

Robert MacGiolla Phádraig (Outplacement Facilitator)

Robert, a director of Sigmar Recruitment, has 10 years recruitment services experience. Robert has designed and  delivered Sigmar’s Recruitment Excellence Program and skills training modules to over 250 recruitment professionals, including Social &  Professional Networking, Interview  preparation & CV design, career planning and job search techniques. Robert has also personally   delivered many of these modules to thousands of job seekers. He also heads us Sigmar Training, were he has delivered high volume Outplacement modules in addition to one to one executive coaching programs. Robert has also facilitated large recruitment drives for both large multinationals and SME’s and understands the current  challenges that face jobseekers.

Robert is a regular commentator on recruitment and  employment in the Sunday Business Post, Sunday Independent, Irish Times and Sunday Tribune (Career Doctor). Robert holds a BA Arts from UCD and has completed Train the Trainer course with Anamili Training.

Robert is a member of the recent MBO team and has lead Sigmar to a number of awards, including Top Workplace in Ireland.

 

 

Frank Farrelly (Outplacement Facilitator)

Frank has recruited in the Irish Market for over 10 years.  He is one of the original members of Sigmar, and was recently appointed as a Director. Frank has extensive training experience which includes modules on Sales, Negotiation, Interview Preparation, CV Writing, Interview Debriefing, Closing the Deal, Account Management, People Management and Advertising. Frank is an Economics & Politics graduate of UCD and the Smurfit School of Business. In addition he has completed a Train the Trainer course. He has recruited for a number of Corporate and SME companies in Ireland including O2, HOK, ICC, SIG Ireland, Oracle and Vodafone. Previous to working in recruitment, Frank worked in Pensions and as an Accountant. Frank also wrote a weekly column, Career Dr., in the Independent News for 3 years.

 

 

Sean McDonagh (Executive Outplacement Facilitator)

With over 18 years in professional recruitment, Sean specialises in senior level search across all disciplines. His experience covers a wide range of sectors, including Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing and General Engineering. Sean is an Executive Consultant with Dalriada having worked for 4 years as a Director of a large Irish executive recruitment firm specializing in technical executive search and had previously worked as Director with a large Irish recruitment plc for over 8 years.

A graduate of The National College of Ireland with a BA in Human Resource Management as well a B.Sc in Management.  Sean is a member of both The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.  He has a keen interest in the use of psychometric testing as part of assessment and development programmes and is qualified to British Psychological Society Level A&B standard in psychometric testing.
